We are a specialized recruiting firm in Honolulu, Hawaii that is locally-owned and locally-operated by a CPA (not in public practice) with over 20 years of combined accounting and staffing experience. Lynn Haring, Founder and President of Abacus Pro Services, Inc., has extensive education and experience in accounting. Because of her hands-on background, she can easily relate to her candidates and clients.
She graduated from University of Hawaii with a Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting and from University of Southern California with a Master’s Degree in Accounting. Her accounting career includes Big 4 experience with Ernst & Young and industry experience as a Controller in Honolulu. Her recruiting career started in San Francisco with an international recruiting firm.
Lynn is a member of Junior League of Honolulu (JLH) and Hawaii Society of Certified Public Accountants (HSCPA). Formerly, she was President of the Institute of Management Accountants (IMA) for two years and a board member of the American Society of Women Accountants (ASWA), now known as Accounting and Financial Women’s Alliance (AFWA). She holds a CPA license in Hawaii and California.
